CF Montreal have fired head coach Laurent Courtois, the team announced Monday. The 46-year-old was in charge for his second season as first-team head coach to begin 2025 after leading them to a Wildcard Playoff appearance last season.

In 2024, Courtois led CF MTL to a 11-13-10 (WLD) record and to begin 2025 the club is 0-4-1. The Canadian side's schedule to begin the 2025 campaign included seven-straight away matches before their home-opener at Stade Saputo on April 12.

Assistant coach Marco Donadel has been named interim coach.
