Patrick Agyemang scored his first goal of the 2025 MLS season, helping Charlotte FC secure a 2-0 victory over FC Cincinnati at Bank of America Stadium Saturday night.
The striker perfectly timed his run onto a ball played by Pep Biel, slipping a shot from the left-center of the area inside the back post in the 51st minute. The victory propelled Charlotte FC to fourth place in the MLS standings with a 2-1-1 record and seven points.
The goal comes just as Agyemang prepares to join the USMNT for the CONCACAF Nations League, having been named to Mauricio Pochettino's 23-man squad earlier in the week.

Charlotte FC dominated their home match against FC Cincinnati. Liel Abada opened the scoring in the 48th minute before Agyemang doubled the lead.
Charlotte controlled the game from start to finish, with Kristijan Kahlina making eight crucial saves. Cincinnati struggled to create meaningful chances and were further handicapped when Gilberto Flores received a red card in the 83rd minute, which all but confirmed the win for Dean Smith’s side.
